Dear Julian,

I am very glad that both my children have now had the opportunity to receive advanced driving techniques from skilled police drivers. Like all parents, and despite their protestations to the contrary, I am concerned for their safety when they set off on any journey on our crowded road systems, however short that journey maybe.

I am convinced that young people benefit more from fatherly advice given by an unconnected professional driver than comments made by near relatives. I believe the instruction in road craft, vehicle control and other important skills, not ordinarily taught in conventional driving schools, that my children have received from your team will be of considerable value to them throughout their driving careers.
